PHOTO SHOOT PREPARATION
To ensure your property is photographed to its highest potential we recommend you present it well. Here’s what we suggest you do prior to a photo shoot.
INTERIOR
Look at your home through the eyes of a visitor and imagine seeing it for the first time. De-clutter as much as possible and remember less is best when it comes to photographing your home.
- Replace any missing light bulbs
- Turn on all lights & lamps
- Turn off ceiling fans
- Open window shades & blinds
- Remove magnets, notes etc from fridge
- Minimise clutter as much as possible throughout the home
- Remove items from bathroom vanities & shower
- Remove clutter from kitchen benchtops
- Make beds & hide personal items, clothing etc in bedrooms
- Remove pet bowls, toys, beds etc
EXTERIOR
The exterior of a home creates a lasting first impression. Make it count. Ideally, you want your home to look like it is well-cared for and has been maintained to an acceptable standard.
- Ensure lawn has been recently mowed
- Garden should be neat & tidy
- Remove toys, cleaning supplies, washing from line, pet beds
- Remove any signage (for sale, security or business ads etc)
- Arrange garden furniture neatly
- Open garden umbrellas & raise patio awnings
- Sweep leaves from patio & pathways
- If there is a pool, ensure it is sparkling clean & pool toys are removed
- Remove vehicles from driveway
